If I am currently working with you on a custom graphic design, this is the page where you can view a screen shot of your project in progress

Scroll down 'til you see a screen shot

with your name on it

If you just happen to be surfing through, feel free to look around. You might find an idea that is just right for you!

Use the menu at left to navigate the rest of this site ....enjoy

These JPG images give you a good idea what your name will look like, but they are not perfect, as the JPG resolution isn't very fine. You can see some rough edges and stuff in these examples that WILL NOT be there in the finished name. The vinyl cutting program has a MUCH finer resolution than these pics. Also, colors are approximate, certainly not exact. Colors will also vary from one computer monitor to another.

Mike,

Here are a couple of Gaelic fonts I've used in the past. The top one is called Glanchlo and the bottom is American Uncial.

The bottom example (3rd) has the shadow added to the American Uncial
muireann1

Rummy,

Here is the same font you had, but with a shiny gold outline and rearranged a bit. This should look great against your dark blue hull. The shiny gold doesn't show well on the computer, but it's shiny, like a new gold coin.
Rum Runner1

Russ & Marie,

This example and the one below are what your signs should look like now. If you want to change anything let me know.

Next one down is the honey side.

These are each half of a 4' x 8' sign

Bill,

Here is the brush script MT again with a finer outline this time.

I have put up a couple others with different color combinations. the middle example would be shiny gold with a red outline and the bottom example is red with a burgundy shadow
shadow1

Bill,

I made up a few examples for you to look over. First is done in Brush Script with a simple outline stood away from the text to let the color of the hull show through. Second is a font called Black Chancery. Again with the gap to let the blue show through and then a white shadow outside of that. Third is Black Chancery again, but with just a medium grey shadow.
Shadow

Alicia,

Here is a design similar to Cat's Pajamas. It's about 9 inches high and 41 inches long. Burgundy w/gold outline and gold foot prints.
Munchkin's Holiday

Jody,

Here's something to get us started. I added another note to see if it would balance nicer.

Hank,

Here's some blue examples like the red Times New Roman font from below.

Here is your "skybrush" in Brush script MT with a mast and pennant doing the "brushing".
skybrush1
Carl,

Here is your "Apteryx" in satin gold. This example is 5" Black Chancery and is about 5.8" high and 18.8 inches long.
Apertyx

Norm,

Your sheer stripe is pretty wide. Perhaps we could incorporate the name right into it. The top example is the original image shown as it would look below the sheer stripe and below is what it would look like in Times New Roman (like CJ & L's Tehani) and set on your sheer stripe, Med green with a .15 in. gold outline.

We could do this with or without the graphic at the bottom.
Kittyhawk3

Peter, Here is your "Sweet Little Sixteen" Spelled out.

Rory

Here are a couple ideas to get us started. In the first image you see your 6" Park Avenue font on top and the 6" Tiranti font below it. Further down are a couple other possible variations. If you like something you see, great. If you'd like to change or add something feel free to say so.

Elle,

Here are examples of Fandango, Fretnaught and your Watermausic all shown to the same scale. As you can see, Fandango is considerably larger than the other two and Fretnaught and Watermusic are very close to the same size.

Notice also that this version of Watermusic is made with a shadow like the one Frethaught has.

Elle,

Got to thinking about the moon and shining on the water and such...... ended up making this. It's a bit of a change from the direction we were headed, but I thought I'd show you anyway :-)

watermusic moon
The water graphic we were using before is pretty much going to have to be shaped like it is. So, I thought I'd try  another way to illustrate some water. Here is  your "Watermusic" without anything added. And, a couple examples with a different water graphic.

This version of "Watermusic" is about 22 inches long and 5 inches high. The larger version is about 31' long by 7' high
watermusic7
Here's a smaller version. I put the reg# on the white background so you could see how these colors would show on the white toe rail.

watermusic6
Here's the "improved" W :-) Hope this is more like what you were thinking.
watermusic5
Elle,
Here is your "Watermusic" with a new W and an example reg#, all done in Satin Aluminum with a black outline.

Claude

Here is "Celtic Lass" in 4" American Uncial, like you see on our Flicka, dark blue with a fine red outline. As you can see, this is a rather roomy font and you may not want to go much bigger than this. Note, the short letters are 4 inches tall and this would be about 40 inches long overall.

Andrew,

Here are a few ideas for us to get started with. this top one is your Cataneo font, in pearl grey, just plain

This one is the same as above with a medium grey shadow added.

carmen3
Here I have changed to red with a pearl grey shadow that is set away from the text to allow the hull color to show through as an outline.

Here is the same font again, but this time in olympic blue with a medium grey out line, again set away from the text to allow the hull color to show through.
carmen2
This font is Matura MT script capitals. Not sure if you'd like this, but I thought it looked pretty cool. This is satin gold with a medium grey shadow/outline. Or, it could be done in a shiny gold

This is the Mistral you mentioned. Dark yellow with a satin gold shadow. Note also on this example and the one above the port name is a more rounded font than the top 4 examples. Let me know which of these you prefer. Any of these colors combos can be swithed to any of these examples.

George,

Here's a version with a very fine red outline. I think this will add a bit of color and contrast to this design ie, it'll be a little more "eye catching and, at the same time, be easier to read too.

This is the smaller version. I was able to work it down to about 33 1/2 inches with out changing the look too much.

Your port name is now set up to be one copy for the transom

Jim, here are a couple versions of your "Cats Pajamas"
The two names are actually laid out exactly the same, and are the same size but due to the extra length of the version with the paw prints on the end, that version looks smaller. Both are about the same height, 9+ inches or so.

Mike and Brenda,

I got some time to sit down today and try to get us started on a design for your boat. This first one is something a little funky for Mike and the example below is a little more elegant and tasteful for Brenda ;-)

These are just ideas to get us started. Feel free to ask for anything you want here. Differrent fonts, colors, outlines, shadows, something entirely different, whatever.

Tiki Bar 1

These top two images are a couple of designs I made just lately.

This font is Times New Roman. the letters are dark blue and everything is outlined in gold. Looks pretty classy.
Tehani 10

This font is Aldine 401 bold Italic, bright yellow W/dark yellow shadow.
